The City of Ellensburg is giving away free trees in celebration of Arbor Day. Any city resident may apply to plant a tree on city right-of-way. Pick up an application for a free tree, and return the completed application to City Hall, 501 N. Anderson St., no later than Thursday, April 22, 2021. Approved applicants can pick up their tree at Central Nursery by Monday, May 3, 2021 and plant it. Trees are available on a first come, first serve basis.
